Quartz Creek/Lake Blethen — Washington Trails Association

2002-6-3  This mine was last worked in the 1950's, although not much remains of the workings today. To reach the Rainy Mine, park at the Taylor Gate, a few minutes past the Middle Fork trailhead. The Quartz Creek road is an easy 10 minutes from the gate, less than 1/2 mile on the smooth Taylor road.
